Medford Multicare Center - Now Hiring:
Maintenance Worker

Position Type: Temporary

Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in creating a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff? We are looking for a dependable Maintenance Worker to support the daily operations of our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.

What You'll Do as Maintenance Worker:
  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs throughout the facility.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and building systems.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and help ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and life safety regulations.
  • Maintain facility equipment, resident rooms, common areas, and exterior grounds.
  • Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance logs and preventative maintenance records.
  • Assist with the upkeep and repair of facility systems, equipment, and property.
  • Participate in the facility's emergency preparedness program, including on-call responsibilities when required.
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
Qualifications for Maintenance Worker:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance experience required; healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and complete repairs efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work, including bending, climbing, standing, and walking for extended periods.
