We are seeking a hands-on Apartment Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, repair, and overall appearance of residential properties within Medford and Jacksonville.

Maintenance Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 19.50 / hour
• Full Time and Part Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Perform landscaping duties including pruning shrubs, pulling and spraying weeds, and maintaining grounds cleanliness
• Handle tenant lockouts and assist residents with facility-related concerns in a professional manner
• Maintain common areas (laundry rooms, basements, alleys, grounds) by removing trash and ensuring overall cleanliness
• Complete general maintenance tasks including plumbing, irrigation, appliances, drywall, carpentry, painting, and rehab support
• Conduct routine inspections of units, equipment (pumps, lighting), dumpsters, and property conditions
• Perform seasonal tasks such as winterizing hose bibs, disconnecting hoses, and salting icy walkways
• Investigate tenant concerns, complete reports, support move-in/move-out inspections, and communicate issues to management

Maintenance Technician

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with general maintenance, landscaping, and repairs with basic tools and equipment
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid Driver's License required and skill to tow a trailer preferred
• Must have a working cellular phone at all times, with a consistent phone number
• Ability to maintain records, logs, and complete administrative tasks accurately and on time
• Physical ability to lift 60+ lbs. and work in outdoor conditions
• Able to get to apartment location within 15 minutes for lockouts

• Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
• Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
