Day Porter Custodian

The City of Medford is looking for a dependable, hardworking Day Porter Custodian to help keep the Rogue Credit Union Community Complex (Rogue X) clean, safe, and welcoming. This part-time, year-round position is a great opportunity for someone with custodial experience who enjoys staying active and working in a busy, public-facing environment.

At Rogue X, no two days are exactly the same. You'll help maintain locker rooms, restrooms, meeting and party spaces, respond to spills and other immediate cleaning needs, empty trash throughout the facility, and help keep things running smoothly during busy sporting events, celebrations, and everyday activities. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and is comfortable adjusting priorities when something needs attention.

Required

Education and Experience:

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Six (6) months or more experience as a custodian with an industrial, janitorial firm, or commercial business and thorough knowledge of custodial materials and methods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a busy aquatic, gym, recreation, event, or other active public-facing facility environment.
