Mechanical Planner

Programmed Maintenance Services – Medina WA

Programmed Energy & Resources are currently seeking a Mechanical Planner for our client who manufacture and distribute pigments and various raw materials, at their refinery plant located in Kwinana!

This opportunity involves working on a dayshift 9-day fortnight roster, working 9 hour shifts and offers a competitive flat rate of $85-$90 per hour (flat rate) based on experience.

Successful applicants will have previous fixed plant, refinery, or mining operations experience, strong planning capabilities, and a proven commitment to safety and operational excellence.

About the role:

• Location: Kwinana (DIDO, local opportunity)
• Shift: 9 day fortnight | Day shift | 9 hour shifts
• Rate: $85-$90 per hour (flat rate) based on experience
• Casual contract with expected 15 month+ duration

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and schedule maintenance plans for routine and preventative maintenance activities
• Coordinate shutdown planning and maintenance execution
• Manage asset maintenance strategies and work orders
• Ensure compliance with site safety and maintenance standards
• Liaise effectively with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver planned maintenance outcomes

Skills and Experience:

• Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate
• 3+ years proven experience as a Mechanical Planner within refinery, fixed plant, or mining environments
• Strong working knowledge of SAP and CMMS systems
• White Card
• Working at Heights & Confined Space Tickets - within 3 years
• Current & Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a pre-employment and drug & alcohol screen
• Ability to complete online inductions
• Demonstrated commitment to safety
