Maintenance Assistant

Full-Time 40 hour a week position, weekends and on-call hours

As a Building & Grounds Repair Assistant, you will:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks across the building, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general facility upkeep.
• Perform Panting.
• Electrical work.
• Plumbing.
• Pool Maintenance.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize future issues.
• Respond promptly to work orders and resident/staff requests.
• Assist with snow removal and seasonal maintenance (e.g., clearing walkways).
• Support building security by locking/unlocking entrances and monitoring entry points.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.

What We're Looking For – Maintenance

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in building maintenance, general repair, or a similar field
• Hands-on knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout your shift
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious
• Must have your own basic hand tools

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

• Experience in healthcare, assisted living, or residential maintenance settings
• Familiarity with plumbing and electrical systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
