Customer Service Representative - Melrose Park

The Customer Service Representative role is responsible for resolving issues, processing orders, tracking/tracing shipments, processing returns/damages, and working with internal departments.

Responsibilities:

Resolve high volume of customer calls and emails in a timely manner

Receive, process, and respond to inquiries regarding pricing, order status and changes, product availability, and product information

Process all incoming requests for shipment information from both internal and external based customers

Serve as back-up to Receptionist. Attend to the front desk, take and transfer incoming calls, greet and direct visitors, sort mail, book travel arrangements.

Assist Inside Sales with administrative tasks. Help respond to RFI’s, help direct leads to the appropriate person, respond to simple RFI’s when possible.

Assist in filing and archiving within the customer service department.

Complete reports using SAP and MS Excel Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administrative, Communication, or related field of study.

Proficiency in basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide, understand calculations related to percentages, basic algebra)
Intermediate Excel skills. Familiarity with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulae, etc.

Positive, high-energy, resilient personality.

Ability to complete a high-volume amount of work while remaining detail-focused. High sense of urgency.

Ability and desire to work on-site, in-office at our Melrose Park, IL location 100%. No hybrid or telework available.

Bilingual English/Spanish is ideal
