Personal Banker

Position Overview

As a Personal Banker within PNC's retail branch organization, you will be based in Melrose Park, IL. Bilingual Spanish is preferred. PNC is an in‑office company that fosters a collaborative culture where employees can thrive.

• Acquires and deepens the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities, managing the customer experience and identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing.
• Drives proactive sales conversations through inbound and outbound interactions, including outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement to elevate client loyalty.
• Creates customer loyalty and grows wallet share through a differentiated customer experience, engaging customers in lobby interactions, positioning PNC products, and educating on financial transaction options.
• Applies product and procedural knowledge to mitigate and solve customer problems effectively to drive loyalty.
• Manages risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits and participating in branch daily operations in an efficient and accurate manner.

• 3+ years of relevant experience in banking or a related field; an Associate’s degree or equivalent education plus product knowledge is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, leverage technology, and engage customers proactively.
• Proficiency in banking products, digital awareness, effective communications, managing multiple priorities, problem solving, prospecting, and retail lending.
• Basic understanding of customer needs and the ability to drive customer loyalty through a differentiated experience.

Base Salary: $45,375 – $75,625. This role is incentive eligible with performance‑based payment.
