Transportation Tracking Coordinator

CDN Logistics Inc, a nationwide truckload and LTL provider based in Carol Stream, IL, is seeking a Transportation Tracking Coordinator. In this role, you will monitor in-transit freight, update shipment statuses in our TMS, and proactively communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers to ensure on-time delivery. You'll investigate delays, escalate service issues, and keep accurate records for performance reporting. Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, you'll support safety, reliability, and strong customer service while gaining experience in operations and supply chain coordination.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track in-transit shipments using TMS and tracking tools
• Update shipment statuses and notes in systems with accurate, timely data
• Communicate proactively with drivers, carriers, and customers on load status
• Identify, investigate, and help resolve delays, exceptions, and service issues
• Escalate critical service problems to operations and leadership as needed
• Coordinate with dispatch and operations to support on-time pickup and delivery
• Maintain tracking logs, reports, and KPIs for performance visibility
• Support a safety-focused, compliant, and customer-centric operation
• Collaborate with team members to improve tracking processes and service
• Assist with after-hours or weekend coverage as business needs require
