Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Corporate Safety Manager to join our team in Melrose Park, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for playing a key role in advancing the organization’s safety culture and risk management strategy across multiple trades and districts. The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years in a safety management role within a large, self‑performing construction environment, a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, Risk Management or a related field, and more listed below.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, update, and govern corporate‑level safety policies, procedures, and compliance programs aligned with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Evaluate incident trends, leading and lagging indicators, and audit data to identify systemic risks and prioritize prevention strategies.
  • Standardize best practices across districts to ensure consistent implementation and accountability.
  • Partner with leadership to align safety programs with operational goals and strategic direction.
  • Conduct detailed root‑cause analyses following incidents or near‑misses and prepare actionable summaries for leadership.
  • Translate complex data into clear, visual dashboards and reports.
  • Deliver executive‑level presentations and written communications outlining performance, trends, and initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver corporate safety training modules, campaigns, and communication materials to reinforce a proactive safety culture.
  • Collaborate closely with District Safety Officers to provide guidance and ensure consistent application of standards.
  • Assist leadership in coaching, mentoring, and building capability within district safety teams.
  • Manage corporate safety audit programs and ensure corrective actions are completed effectively.
  • Serve as a liaison with insurance representatives, regulatory agencies, and third‑party auditors.
  • Monitor and interpret emerging regulatory changes, industry trends, and technologies to strengthen safety programs.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 3+ years in a safety management role within a large, self‑performing construction environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, Risk Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and related safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to design and manage enterprise‑wide safety programs and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills; proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence through credibility and collaboration.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and sound judgment in high‑pressure situations.
  • Preferred certifications: GSP, ASP, CHST, STSC, CSP.
  • Preferred:
    Bilingual (English/Spanish).
