** Inspector I
** at a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Melrose Park, IL.

** Pay Rate:** $19.75/hour ($18 base + $1.75 shift differential)

** Melrose Park, IL 60160

* Schedule:
** 5:45 PM - 6:15 AM. Overtime based on business need
+
** Type:
** 3-month contract, with potential for extension or conversion to Full-Time Employee (FTE) based on performance and business needs.
** What's a typical day as an Inspector I?*
* You will:
+ Visually inspect finished products from the filling line, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
+ Work in both the Capping Department and off-line inspection areas, gaining familiarity with procedures and equipment.
+ Accurately and promptly document all inspection work and findings.
+ Set up, adjust, and operate inspection equipment, including inspection machines and cappers.
+ Perform essential start-up procedures, such as filter integrity testing, line clearance, and component verification, for filling operations.
+ Complete and document quality checks on products, calculate defective percentages, and reconcile batch records.
+ Load and unload vials from turntables; stack, wrap, and move pallets.
+ Perform additional tasks as assigned to support production quality.
** This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:*
* + High school diploma or equivalent (required).
+ One (1) to three (3) years of pharmaceutical experience (preferred).
+ Ability to perform basic math calculations (multiplication/division).
+ Strong visual acuity and attention to detail to detect product defects.
+ Good written and verbal communication skills.
+ Willingness and ability to meet visual inspection qualification requirements and maintain acceptable visual standards.
