Registered Nurse Inpatient Dialysis

Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift (7a-7p). On Call Required.

The Inpatient Dialysis unit provides adult hemodialysis care with four dialysis stations and also offers peritoneal dialysis and continuous renal replacement therapy to patients with kidney failure.

• Deliver adult hemodialysis to individual patients at four dialysis stations.
• Administer peritoneal dialysis and continuous renal replacement therapy as needed.
• Monitor patient response, manage equipment, and document care.
• Collaborate with nephrologists, dialysis registered nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide nursing education and support to patients and families.

• BSN or ADN from an accredited school/college of nursing.
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Registered with the Illinois Board of Nursing before hire.
• Previous hemodialysis experience preferred.

• BSN pay range: $36.05 – $59.92 per hour.
• ADN pay range: $32.90 – $57.06 per hour.
