Quality Technician

Our client, a leading food manufacturing organization, is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the Meat division. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Technician

Location: Melrose Park, IL

Pay Range: $24

Shift: 3rd shift(10pm - 6am, Monday to Friday)

What's the Job?

• Ensure all incoming raw materials are clean and in sanitary condition.
• Verify the food safety of all incoming raw materials.
• Check lot numbers on containers versus received certificates of analysis.
• Sample all incoming ingredients and packaging according to written procedures and maintain sampling records.
• Test incoming raw materials according to current specifications and verify Kosher status of ingredients.
