Inside Sales Representative

Coordinate proposal generation including creating bills of material, pricing/selecting material, generating layouts/drawings as well as coordinating with Engineering as needed.

Manage and facilitate internal project meetings with Production, Engineering, and Operations, as well as customer meetings to ensure project alignment and timely execution.

Provide product application and technical training to distributors showcasing Interlake Mecalux’s engineering expertise and manufacturing capabilities.

Utilize CRM and ERP tools to accurately track, manage, and follow up on sales leads, quotations, opportunities, and won projects.

Monitor and analyze lost sales opportunities, identify reasons for project losses, and communicate findings and recommendations to management to support continuous sales improvement.

Prepare and maintain accurate weekly and monthly sales activity, pipeline, and performance reports.

Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Assist in evaluating distributor performance and identifying strategic distributor partnerships that align with company goals and contribute to long-term business success.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Logistics, and Customer Service to ensure accurate quotations, seamless order execution, and successful project delivery.

Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay current on company products, industry trends, and competitive offerings to effectively support customers and the sales organization.

Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision.

Advanced level of proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred.

Experience with ERP systems preferred.

Polished and professional communication skills.

Excellent analytical and technical aptitude.
