- Supervise and monitor access system, intrusion/fire alarms, emergency phones, and CCTV system.
- Manage all incoming telephone communications from the complex and communicate emergency information to DC Security.
- Maintain an activity log documenting all information relevant to tasks performed.
- Review all shift paperwork for completeness and accuracy, and properly file all shift paperwork.
- Maintain records and create access for the complex card access system.
- Conduct maintenance audits of security equipment (CCTV, alarm systems, etc.).
- Assist with security investigations and provide detailed information to DC Management regarding card access and CCTV video.
- Document all Loss Prevention activities at the gates/lobbies as required by established Loss Prevention procedures.
- Complete incident reports to document Security Loss Prevention related issues and forward reports to Security Management/Supervision for follow-up.
- Responsible for emergency notification to Police and Fire departments and dispatch security personnel for emergency response.
- Monitor Yard Management System (PINC) and make needed adjustments.
- Monitor and adjust all inbound and outbound complex traffic, using Google tools.
- Answer telephone calls, tactfully handle inquiries, and transfer to the appropriate party.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Customer Service experience required.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Security CCTV systems.
- Ability to work independently or through a situation in the absence of the Loss Prevention Supervisor.
- Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
- Strong conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of associates and management.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and influence others.
