Overview
Trailer Mechanic/Technician — Starting $29.83/hour

Responsibilities- Maintain proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of all assigned equipment.
- Determine trailer condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests.
- Perform system repairs including 2 years air brakes and FHWA inspections; technical training; tractor trailer or Reefer experience a plus.
- Perform all preventive maintenance inspections and state and federal mandated safety inspections; complete repairs in accordance with DOT requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance on trailers and refrigeration systems.
- Shift: 2nd shift
- Schedule:
Sunday through Thursday, 2 PM start;
Friday and Saturday off - Start pay: $29.83/hour

- Minimum of 3 years of related experience as a trailer mechanic
- TMT software experience preferred
- 2 years of experience with air brakes and FHWA inspections
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Basic math skills
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of hydraulics
- Own set of tools
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency with MS Office and TMT
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
