Position: Full Time Class B Driver Location: Northlake Terminal Pay: $28.06/hour to start, $31.09/hour after the first year Hours: Monday‑Friday, Dayshift Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental insurance; 401(k) matching;

• Drive a straight truck between customer locations to deliver and pick up freight.
• Operate a commercial vehicle safely while picking up and delivering general freight.
• Load and unload the truck, either individually or with the assistance of dockworkers, using mechanical freight handling equipment when available.
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of freight.
• Secure freight through strapping or other methods as required.
• Inspect the vehicle for defects and safe operating conditions as required by law and company policy.
• Comply with all Federal requirements regarding the transportation of Hazardous Materials.
• Operate the straight truck in all conditions in accordance with federal regulations, observing hours of service limitations and required off‑duty periods.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver logs.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all federal, state and local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.

• Minimum age of 21.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class B equipment experience.
• Pass a road test administered by a Dohrn Transfer Driver Trainer.
• Maintain Hazardous Material and Tanker endorsements on the current valid driver’s license issued by the resident state.
• Possess a single valid Class B driver’s license issued by the resident state; provide proof of any recent transfer and information on all licenses held within the previous 36 months.
• No record of citation or conviction of any DUI/OWI or reckless driving within the previous 5 years.
• Maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). examination and functional screen.
• Consent to a pre‑employment drug screen; a negative result is required.
• Provide a negative controlled substances and alcohol result from prior employer(s) for the past three years.
• No refusal to submit to a alcohol or controlled substance test within the past three years.
• Consent to a 10‑year check on work history; any gaps of 30 days or more must be listed and explained.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations in English.
• Employment is at‑will; no guarantee of tenure.

• Grip items up to 100 pounds.
• Lifting up to 100 pounds from ground level to 45 inches; lifting at waist level or 36 inches.
• Front carry up to 100 pounds for 250 feet.
• Push/pull up to 60 pounds of horizontal force.
• Sit for up to 10 hours per day.
• Stand and walk frequently.
• Climb, squat, crouch, balance, or kneel occasionally.
• Reaching frequently while operating the truck.
• Grasping while loading/unloading freight and operating the trailer.
• Speak with coworkers and customers regularly for safety and efficiency.
• Use vision continuously during driving and inspections.
• Use smell occasionally to check for leaks.
• Use hearing frequently to monitor vehicle sounds.
• May be exposed to extreme temperatures, humidity, wetness, dust, gas, fumes, or chemicals.
