Minimum Requirements

* Driver must be at least 23 years of age

* Must have 2 years of verifiable experience driving a Class C Straight Truck.

* No more than 1 at-fault (preventable) accident in the last year

* Clean MVR is a plus

* Valid Class B License

* Must have Hazmat and Tankers Endorsement at Time of Application

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

* Operate vehicle safely at all times

* Comply with DOT Driver Log, pre-trip and post trip inspections

* Label, sign and handle shipments according to DOT regulations and CXI Trucking procedures

* Verify loads, equipment and hazardous materials are secured prior to transportation

* Operational knowledge of a pallet jack, two-wheel hand truck and lift-gate to assist in P & D operation

* Ability to lift 70lbs safely

* Ability to effectively read maps or utilize a GPS unit

* Communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner
