Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is an international biopharma company that collects and fractionates blood plasma to produce and distribute plasma‑derived therapeutic products for treating and preventing serious diseases such as Hemophilia, Primary Immune System Deficiencies, and Rh‑Sensitization.

The Maintenance Mechanic will perform routine preventive maintenance, assist with installation of new equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, support building checks, and handle minor repairs on a 12‑hour rotating overnight shift (6 pm‑6 am).

• Assist personnel with troubleshooting mechanical systems and installing new systems.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians II, Senior Maintenance Technicians and Team Leads with routine and non‑routine activities.
• Perform drywall repairs and similar jobs.
• Conduct building checks and report any problems to the Team Leader.
• Support engineering projects for equipment installation.
• Respond to building alarms and take appropriate action.
• Execute work orders and minor preventive maintenance tasks as assigned by the Team Leader and according to established procedures.
• Follow established safety procedures and cGMP requirements.

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of mechanic experience or equivalent.
• Ability to learn, take instruction and complete work assignments efficiently and professionally.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems preferred.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Flexible to work a 12‑hour rotating shift, weekends, and holidays.

The position is primarily indoors in well‑lit and well‑ventilated areas. The employee may be required to handle hazardous waste, for which they will receive appropriate training in accordance with New York State regulations and annual refresher training covering OSHA HAZWOPER standards.

Pay Range: $25.00/HR – $30.00/HR
