Job Title
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $27.00hr - $31.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of Facility Planning experience.
- Valid state driver’s license may be required.
- Ability to obtain a security access badge at the client’s location.
- Availability for various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and substance abuse test.
- Ability to wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
- Ability to cope with demands and stressors associated with the work environment to maintain performance levels.
- Upholds safety, health, and environmental procedures and supports EHS policies to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and site-specific regulations.
- Acts as the principal liaison between the maintenance department and operation planning.
- Maximizes resources by identifying parts, materials, special tools, external services, and documentation to improve maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Receives, reviews, and screens all planned work orders from requesting departments for completion and required information.
- Examines planned work orders and determines scope and best practices to accomplish work.
- Identifies work requiring engineering and design and reviews with proper entities.
- Escalates issues to the Reliability Manager for work requiring special tools, personnel, or approvals.
- Develops full scope of work including cost and time estimates for repair, preventive, predictive, and improvement maintenance activities.
- Prepares job plans detailing sequencing, parts, materials, and external services with planned costs.
- Performs root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
- Initiates and implements best practices for planning and scheduling preventive and predictive maintenance work.
- Analyzes unplanned work orders for incorporation into corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensures maintenance personnel understand work instructions using procedures-based strategies.
- Ensures maintenance personnel update and close work orders upon completion.
- Prepares reports and analyzes data to make recommendations for improving operations and solving maintenance problems.
- Maximizes equipment reliability through effective use of planned maintenance.
- Develops maintenance work schedules including PM, PDM, and Service Work Orders (SWOs).
- Maintains the CMMS while managing work orders, backlog, and spare parts.
- Coordinates with Site Maintenance Manager and Operations to schedule workforce and resources for cost optimization.
- Identifies and kits all parts and materials required to complete work orders for maximum efficiency.
- Creates a critical spares list and identifies sources for procurement to reduce lead times.
- Tracks performance metrics such as schedule compliance, PM compliance, and mean time between failure.
- May be required to travel locally to other locations for support.
- Proficiency in a CMMS such as Maximo, SAP, or an equivalent program.
- Preventive and/or Predictive maintenance planning experience.
- Practical experience with continuous improvement techniques such as Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance, Six Sigma, 5S, or Client Production Systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of an effective safety culture.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Education:
- Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line.
- Strong understanding of skilled crafts including HVAC, Mechanics, Electrical, and Hydraulics.
- Ability to perform repetitive wrist movement.
- Ability to walk extensively throughout facilities during a workday.
- Ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen.
- Ability to use a variety of office equipment and to operate a computer keyboard.
- Ability to attend meetings throughout the site and travel to other locations including potential air travel.
- Ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions.
- Ability to move light to medium weight materials into desks, filing cabinets and other storage locations.
- Ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.
