Network Technician

TEKsystems is looking for a Network Technician for one of our top clients in the Memphis, TN area in a fast‑paced environment. They offer stability, growth, updated technology and more. This role will be traveling in the area.

• Experience in a Data Center (Creating racks, etc)
• Preventative & cable maintenance
• Running Cable like CAT 5/6 & Fiber
• BISCI Cert is a plus

• Infrastructure vendor management and metric reporting.
• Responsible for on‑site management of shift technicians, subcontractors and vendors ensuring all work performed is in accordance with established practices and procedures.
• Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses and prepare reports on all aspects of critical facility operations and maintenance.
• Work with IT managers and other business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability and efficiency.
• Operate and manage both routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as switch gear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.
• May assist in the design and build‑out of new facilities.
• May assist in projects to increase current facility efficiency.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Responsible for asset and inventory management.
• Deliver quality service and ensure all customer demands are met.

Contract‑to‑Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $27.00 per hour.
