Director of Facilities

• Wash, clean, dust, sanitize, mop, vacuum, and perform minor repairs within the school building.
• Collect and dispose of trash throughout the assigned area.
• Alert custodians of problems as they arise and communicate all issues.
• Prepare work orders for scheduled work.
• Monitor cleaner assignments as needed.
• Perform routine checks on heating, air conditioning, and ventilating systems.
• Assist as needed throughout the building.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

One year paid full‑time experience (or equivalent) in building cleaning work.

• Ability to complete cleaning tasks, move boxes and furniture, operate machinery used to maintain floors.
• Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
• Working knowledge of building cleaning procedures, materials, and equipment.
• Working knowledge of cleaning agents and proper applications.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
