Service & Maintenance Technician

Essential Functions

• Maintain facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Provide general maintenance support to sites by painting, building/repairing structures, interiors, shelving, cabinets, cleaning, and other basic maintenance.
• Maintain store equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and performing preventive maintenance.
• Facilitate repairs by contacting service vendors for materials.
• Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Participate in training for existing and new equipment.
• Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, use hand/electric cart, power and hand tools, ability to crouch or crawl, use a ladder, and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple changing priorities and work independently.
• 3-5 years experience in A/C, refrigeration, or general maintenance.
• Requires driving a company vehicle to different store locations across the division.

Physical requirements include sitting, talking, hearing, using hands for handling and grasping items, standing, walking, reaching with both hands and arms, and lifting items that may weigh between 5–10 lbs.

The noise level is usually moderate at a normal range. Lighting includes natural light from outside as well as fluorescent lighting throughout work areas. Job duties may change with or without advance notice.
