Part‑Time On‑Call Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers

Location:

Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women, Memphis, TN.

Shifts:

1st, 2nd, & 3rd.

Hourly Pay: $14.74. Includes every other weekend/holiday.

Hospital housekeeping duties across integrated client premises, ensuring cleanliness and order per healthcare standards.

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

• Fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 as a condition of employment.
• Experience in the janitorial industry a plus.
• Medical cleaning a plus.
• Post‑Offer Medical, Background Screening, and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and to talk or hear. Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs. Close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision required, with or without corrective lenses.

Possible exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.
