Purpose:
To load all the outbound orders into the designated tractor trailers in compliance with company procedures and standards. This makes sure the drivers have the product safely stowed and organized for maximum efficiency for the day's deliveries.

The pay for the position: $26.50 - $28.50 per hr. The starting pay rate is: $26.50 per hr.
Schedule:
Full-time, Sunday - Thursday, 5pm start.

As a US FOODS® Loader, you load all the outbound orders into the designated tractor trailers in compliance with company procedures and standards. This makes sure the drivers have the product safely stowed and organized for maximum efficiency for the day's deliveries. What you bring to the table:
- Education/Training:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. - Related
Experience:
A minimum of one year warehouse experience preferred. - Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Pallet jack experience; good attention to detail; ability to read load diagrams; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide). Must be team oriented and able to get along with others.
Main ingredients:
- Conduct trailer inspection before loading to insure trailer is clean, has the proper temperature and is ready for loading.
- Ensure all pallets are built according to stops and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport.
- Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated product before loading.
- Load trailer, ensuring bulkheads are placed correctly and are secured. Also, confirm load diagram is completed and submitted.
- Follow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area.
Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $26.50/hr - $28.50/hr as applicable, this role will also receive overtime compensation.
