Maintenance​/Cleaning Operator, General Labor

Operator Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks (climbing ladders and moving/picking up 50+ pound hoses)
• Load and unload railcars using large wenches to loosen fittings and bolts
• Responsible for bulk liquid transfers—opening and closing large gate valves, walking throughout the plant on uneven surfaces, gravel, rock, grass, and climbing stairs, catwalks, or vertical ladders
• Operate various style pumps and troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance and repairs
• Operate boiler and replace steam fittings as needed
• Perform general inside and outside housekeeping involving physical labor, shovel, wheelbarrow, and rake
• Perform maintenance using hand tools, moving heavy valves and pipes, and some loader operation
• Participate and contribute to the company safety program
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned
