Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Facility Maintenance, Building Maintenance
Maintenance Position
Performs activities related to maintaining university buildings and grounds overall appearance. May include providing basic maintenance/repair services. Specific positions may require certain skill sets.

Responsibilities- Cleans equipment and equipment rooms.
- Performs minor maintenance duties and carry out assigned preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the facilities services preventative maintenance program.
- Blows down boilers when making rounds. Receives, tracks, and stores filters. Liaises with contractor for periodic and as needed filter deliveries/pickup times.
- Performs filter replacement in HVAC equipment as needed based on life expectancy as well as for special circumstances that may arise (construction, high volume use etc.)
- Attends various meetings including safety meetings, focus groups, quality team meetings, and departmental meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED and one year (1) mechanical or general maintenance experience. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
