Job Description

Maintains building finishes, reports directly to, and works under the guidance of Manager/Supervisor. Has medium to high level of expertise to perform painting. Maintains a safe and workable environment for all building users. Performs painting, finish application, wall repair to building finishes. Maintains all building finishes throughout the facilities. Responds to routine and emergency calls for corrective maintenance involving building finishes.

Performs rough and finish wall repair and finishing as directed. The incumbent of this position will contribute to a positive patient experience by anticipating needs, addressing concerns promptly, and fostering confidence in the care provided.

Responsibilities

Perform painting, finish applications, and both rough and final wall repairs to maintain high-quality building finishes.

Inspect and maintain all facility finishes, ensuring a clean, safe, and functional environment for building occupants.

Respond to routine and emergency maintenance requests related to building finishes in a timely and efficient manner.

Work under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor, applying intermediate to advanced expertise in painting and finishing tasks.

Support a positive patient experience by proactively addressing concerns, anticipating needs, and maintaining a professional, well-kept environment.

Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications

Required:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

4 years of progressive experience with a painting or construction company or experience in a commercial or hospital service environment.

Preferred:

Education:

Graduate of trade or vocational school in related field.
