Maintenance Technician Summary

The Maintenance Technician supports the safe, clean, reliable, and efficient operation of Kele’s Bartlett and Memphis facilities, including office, warehouse, and operational work areas. This role performs hands‑on maintenance, repair, inspection, housekeeping support, and preventative maintenance tasks that help keep the workplace running smoothly and enable Kele teams to serve customers with speed, accuracy, and care.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this position works cross-functionally with Operations, Warehouse, Office, and Facilities teams to respond to daily maintenance needs, support facility projects, and help maintain a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate has some prior maintenance or facilities experience, strong mechanical aptitude, a service‑oriented mindset, and a willingness to learn. This role may operate a company truck as needed, so a clean driving record is required.

This position supports Kele’s mission to help customers win through world‑class logistics and unrivaled customer experience by helping ensure our facilities, equipment, and work spaces are safe, reliable, and ready to support daily operations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Perform general facility maintenance across Kele’s Bartlett and Memphis locations, including office, warehouse, and operational areas.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Replace and maintain lighting, including light bulbs, fixtures, and related components within scope.
  • Perform basic plumbing maintenance, including sinks, toilets, fixtures, and minor repairs.
  • Conduct routine visual inspections and basic maintenance of warehouse racking systems, including bolt checks and reporting concerns.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs for CNC and automated wire preparation equipment
  • Water and maintain forklift batteries according to established procedures and safety requirements.
  • Assist with waste disposal, recycling, and general facility cleanliness.
  • Perform monthly fire extinguisher inspections and maintain accurate inspection records.
  • Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and materials safely and efficiently as needed.
  • Support the Facilities Manager with daily requests, facility upkeep, preventative maintenance, special projects, and vendor coordination as needed.
  • Assist housekeeping staff and other facility support teams when needed to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable work environment.
  • Identify safety concerns, maintenance issues, or improvement opportunities and communicate them promptly.
  • Maintain basic records of inspections, completed work, recurring issues, and follow‑up needs.
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, carts, and other basic maintenance equipment.
  • Operate a company truck as needed for facility errands, supply pickups, material movement, or support between locations.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment as needed to complete maintenance tasks
