Car Wash Maintenance Service Technician
The Car Wash Maintenance Service Technician supports a nationwide service program by performing scheduled maintenance and repair services for car wash equipment across an assigned regional territory. This role combines technical expertise with strong customer relationships and time management skills to help ensure equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions- Prioritize safety for all employees on every project.
- Manage maintenance service schedules for car wash customers within assigned territory.
- Perform pre-scheduled maintenance services for car wash customers, including:
- Safely and efficiently operating a vacuum truck
- Removing and replacing separator lids and pulling trenches
- Operating a transfer pump and pressure washer
- Removing heavy sludge and solid material
- Operating a Line Jetter and other specialized equipment
- Completing EPA compliance documentation and data entry using a mobile device
- Collaborate with Regional Managers, Branch Managers, and Vacuum Sales and Service Representatives to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
- Implement service and safety protocols, maintenance schedules, and best practices to optimize performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical training to sales and service teams to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.
- Non-standard work schedule required, including hours performed after car washing facilities have closed
- High school diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience in vacuum truck operations, car wash maintenance, or related service/industrial equipment operations.
- Knowledge of vacuum truck operation, pump systems, and pressure washing equipment
- Experience using time management skills, such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying customer satisfaction. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
- Experience developing and executing service strategies that maximize efficiency
- Willingness to travel extensively to service customers across assigned territory.
- Knowledge of car wash equipment, wastewater treatment, and regulatory compliance
Work is performed primarily in the field at customer locations, project sites, or other off-site environments. The position may be exposed to varying weather conditions, uneven terrain, noise, dust, and other environmental conditions depending on the work location. The role may require standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, reaching, lifting, driving, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $25.00 – $30.00 an hour and includes benefits such as the following:
