General Clean​/Preventative Maintenance

Join Marriott's Facilities team as a General Clean/Preventative Maintenance associate. In this role, you'll ensure guest rooms and public areas are spotless, safe, and in good repair by performing daily cleaning, basic repairs, and routine inspections. You'll handle light plumbing, painting, and minor equipment upkeep while responding promptly to guest requests. Working closely with housekeeping and engineering, you'll help prevent issues before they affect our guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of public areas, back-of-house spaces, and equipment to Marriott standards
• Conduct basic preventative maintenance on guest rooms, fixtures, and common-area systems
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify minor repair and maintenance needs
• Complete work orders for small repairs such as light plumbing, painting, and carpentry touch-ups
• Safely operate cleaning and basic maintenance tools and equipment
• Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests in a timely, professional manner
• Follow safety, health, and sanitation procedures and maintain accurate maintenance logs
• Coordinate with engineering and housekeeping teams to minimize guest disruption
