Maintenance Tech

* POSITION SUMMARY:

*
* Responsible for the repair and quality maintenance of a safe, efficient and inviting facility and grounds.  The position demands good physical and mental health.  The Maintenance technician will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull, and work a flexible schedule including weekends.  Must be able to move continuously during work hours and be able to lift and/or carry 50 - 75 pounds.

** PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES*
* + Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance in a thorough and timely manner.

+ Perform general labor work as assigned including loading, unloading, moving materials and running errands to support projects.

+ Maintain, replace, and properly dispose of light bulbs to ensure safe lighting.

+ Prepare for and participate in health, fire, and safety inspections.  Perform follow-up tasks as needed/recommended.  Maintain proper documentation and submit inspection reports to the Director of Building Services.

+ Perform regular scheduled inspections of building and grounds to ensure standards are maintained including maintenance, repairs, safety, and general clean up

+ Ensure all assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner as designated by Director of Building Services.

+ Performs other related duties as assigned.

** QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES*
* + Ability to understand and carry out general instructions/problem solving in standard situations

+ Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in an ever-changing environment

+ Ability to work independently and as a team

+ Ability to read, write, comprehend verbal and written instructions, and basic analytical skills

** COMPENSATION*
* + This is a full-time hourly non-exempt position. In addition, this position is eligible for medical, dental, 401 (k) and paid time off (PTO) benefits. Compensation depends on experience.

** Pay Details:**  $20.00 per hour
