Maintenance Mechanic

Position Overview

Domtar, Menominee Operations is seeking a talented individual to join our team. This Monday–Friday 1st shift position will assist maintenance on daily and down tasks as needed, which may be outside of regular hours.

• Troubleshoot and repair all mobile equipment, bucket and scissor lifts, pressure washers and fuel storage tanks.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to provide on above equipment to ensure proper reliability.
• Assist maintenance on daily and down tasks as needed.
• Housekeeping of equipment and work area.
• Complete and maintain proper paperwork for inspections, stores and work orders.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience in an industrial environment and previous mechanical experience, preferably with forklifts.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems.
• Understanding and knowledge of Preventative Maintenance.
• Excellent trouble shooting/problem solving skills, good written and oral skills.
• Self‑directed, professional, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Hourly pay range: $30.00 to $38.26, depending on experience.
