Shift: 2nd (2:30pm - 11pm) M-F

Essential Functions
  • Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance program.
  • Examine situations and determine repair remedies.
  • Dismantle and repair worn or broken equipment of all kinds, including machine tools.
  • May be required to make replacement parts. Assemble and install plant equipment/machine tools.
  • Perform all equipment and facility general maintenance functions such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and welding.
  • Troubleshoot/repair facility equipment such as compressors, air conditioning, heating; troubleshoot hydraulics and electrical/electronic circuitry.
  • Repair or replace defective parts or equipment utilizing manuals, drawings, specs and other verbal or written instructions.
  • Assist with Environmental Health and Safety efforts within the facility.
  • Facilitate the repair and maintenance of facility equipment through the use of subcontractors. Operate arc and acetylene welding equipment.
  • Assist/move facility equipment according to plant layouts. Coordinate and plan the movement of facility equipment. Operate a tow motor.
  • Complete training program requirements/certifications in a timely manner. Other responsibilities as required and/or directed.
Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills and be willing to work effectively as a participative team member.
  • Must have working knowledge of computers and computer software to operate programs, create reports and spreadsheets.
  • Must possess good manual dexterity, reliable judgment, and willingness to learn. Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of braze furnace operation.
