Optimal Prime Cleaning Services is a leading provider of high-quality commercial cleaning services for various facilities in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We are looking for a talented and passionate trainer and mentor to join our team and help us train and support our new and existing employees.

A trainer is not a desk job! You will also be cleaning and working in the field on a regular basis, alongside our cleaners, or as a fill-in when needed.

• Teach and mentor new employees on how to use our equipment, supplies, our digital employee app and timekeeping system.
• Share your expertise and best practices on how to clean efficiently and effectively.
• Provide feedback and guidance to improve the performance and quality of our cleaners.
• Work with a diverse and dynamic team of people with various learning styles.

• Cleaning and working in the field on a regular basis, alongside our cleaners or as a fill-in shifts when needed.
• Demonstrating your skills and techniques using a Demonstrate, Do and Review technique of training.
• Coaching staff on how to overcome challenges and solve problems on the spot.
• Being a role model and a team player who leads by example.

The hours are evenings, usually starting around 7:00 pm. Some of the work may be fill in/relief work for cleaners who have days off or vacations. This is an approximately 15-20 hour a week position with a pay range starting at $17 an hour. Raises and bonuses will be available after the training period based upon performance metrics.

• Excellent communication skills and cleaning knowledge.
• Willingness to be flexible, and one who can react to changes in plans.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to pass a background check for theft or felony charges.
• A cell phone with a data plan to be able to use our apps.
