Maintenance Manager
Join Hayes Performance Systems as our Maintenance Manager and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll lead maintenance activities across our machining, assembly, and facility operations while developing a skilled maintenance team. You'll partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to reduce downtime, improve equipment performance, and support production goals.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and develop maintenance technicians while promoting accountability and continuous improvement
- Drive equipment uptime and reliability across machining, assembly, and facility operations
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
- Utilize CMMS systems to manage work orders, maintenance planning, and performance tracking
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and lead root cause investigations
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve operational performance
- Support TPM and continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and efficiency
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance-related expenditures
- Coordinate equipment installations, machine moves, and facility improvement projects
- Monitor key maintenance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
What We Look For:
- Maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
- Experience with CMMS systems and preventive maintenance programs
- Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and drive corrective actions
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Bonus:
Experience supporting CNC machining operations - Familiarity with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement initiatives
- Technical certifications, trade training, or related maintenance education
