Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Building Maintenance
We are looking to selectively grow our team to augment our management and maintenance of multifamily and commercial assets in the SE Wisconsin area. The ideal person will be reliable in front of clients and residents, detail oriented and willing to roll up their sleeves alongside the balance of the team to continue providing first class residential maintenance services. In concert with local Community Managers, candidates will assist in keeping our properties running smoothly.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, diagnosing & repairing mechanical and electrical systems and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Provide timely and effective service to residents and Community Managers
- Respond to and troubleshoot all resident maintenance requests
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Interior and Exterior grounds portering
- Executing unit turns
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely manner
- Coordinate escalating work orders with Community Managers
- All other tasks as assigned by supervisors
- Must exhibit high moral and ethical standards

- Ability to navigate apps on a mobile device to process work orders & log hours

- 40-hour work week expected; hours to be determined by needs and coordination with Community Managers/Supervisor

- Maintenance:
Minimum 2 years (Preferred)
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License (Required)
