Dishwasher

Description

As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for ensuring food preparation equipment is clean and sanitary. The steward’s duties include, but are not limited to; washing dishes, pots, pans, and glassware (both by hand and automated machine), removing trash and recycling from the facility, cleaning appliances and machines, and other duties as assigned by management.

• Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards for culinary operations, equipment, and tools.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary workstation.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and glassware using a machine and by hand.
• Perform deep cleaning on equipment and within the facility itself as assigned.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment, cleaning tool needs, or chemicals necessary.
• Remove trash and recycling from the facility, and cleaning waste collection bins
• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to comply with all food safety requirements
• Must be able to work nights and weekends

• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach. (Shifts can vary up to 10 hours or double shift)
• Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds to shoulder height.
