Facilities Maintenance & Groundskeeper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper & Facilities Maintenance to support the cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of our facility grounds, parking lots, docks, dining areas, and exterior infrastructure. This position is responsible for routine maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, painting, and general facility support to ensure operations run efficiently and the property remains in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Water grass, plants, trees, and landscaped areas.
• Plant and replace flowers, plants, and damaged pots as needed.
• Remove weeds and eliminate ant nests throughout the property.
• Trim trees and palm trees to maintain safe and clean outdoor areas.

Facility Cleaning & Maintenance

• Clean windows, carpets, walkways, wagon storage areas, docks, parking lots, and truck driveways.
• Maintain cleanliness around fences, dumpster areas, material waste zones, and surrounding facility grounds.
• Remove debris, cardboard, wood, sand, oil stains, mold, and garbage from designated areas.
• Clean AC air filters and compressor areas on a regular basis.
• Maintain dining area floors and common areas.

Painting & Preventive Maintenance

• Paint dining areas, fire lane markings, dock guards, and other designated facility structures.
• Perform metal protection maintenance on windows, doors, and walls using sanding and painting techniques.
• Restore damaged metal walls and maintain flammable material cage structures.
• Maintain parking lot symbols, lanes, and exterior visual markings.
• Apply clear polish to front AB wood view areas.

General Operations Support

• Replace damaged light bulbs and ensure all neon signs and surrounding lights are operational.
• Relocate bricks and assist with facility organization projects.
• Support production and warehouse operations as needed.
• Assist with waste disposal and material handling tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in facility maintenance, janitorial work, landscaping, or groundskeeping preferred.
• Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment such as air blowers, shovels, wheelbarrows, machetes, sanders, paint tools, and cleaning equipment.
• Basic knowledge of painting, landscaping, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Dependable attendance and ability to follow safety procedures.

Monday
- Friday Work; requires to be available for shift work on evenings, weekends and holidays.

Budgeted hours

6:00am - 3:00pm overtime as needed.
