Pay Rate: $38.00/hr W2

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrician to support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical systems within a regulated manufacturing environment.
This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment and facility systems that support manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and utility operations.
The Electrician will ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while supporting mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and controls throughout the manufacturing facility.
Support production equipment, utility systems, HVAC equipment, cleanroom infrastructure, and facility support systems.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on electrical equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues involving motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, panels, lighting systems, and power distribution equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent technical training.
Valid Connecticut E-1 Unlimited Electrical Journeyperson License required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other regulated industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, and electrical safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, medical device, or FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and quality management systems.
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation equipment.
