Duration: 12 months (Contract-Hire)

Shift: M-F 7am - 7.30pm - OT Available

Pay Rate: $38.00/hr W2

Job Summary:
  • Seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrician to support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical systems within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment and facility systems that support manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and utility operations.
  • The Electrician will ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while supporting mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and controls throughout the manufacturing facility.
  • Support production equipment, utility systems, HVAC equipment, cleanroom infrastructure, and facility support systems.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on electrical equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues involving motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, panels, lighting systems, and power distribution equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent technical training.
  • Valid Connecticut E-1 Unlimited Electrical Journeyperson License required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other regulated industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, and electrical safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, medical device, or FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and quality management systems.
  • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation equipment.
