Contents Cleaning Technician

SERVPRO of Boise is seeking a Fire Restoration Technician who performs restoration processes to fulfill the service of structure and contents cleaning, restoration, inventory, disposal as needed on each restoration project. The Fire Restoration Technician maintains the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment as well as an assigned service vehicle. By providing quality, consistent, efficient work, the restoration technician represents the best in the cleanup and restoration industry.

• Inventory, pack, and clean contents damaged by smoke or water.
• Using software to track the status and location of contents at our warehouse
• Cleaning/restoring contents to pre-loss condition, and re-packaging items for return to customers.
• Training will be provided.
• Other tasks/duties as required by employer.

• High school diploma/GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

• IICRC certifications preferred.
• Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction preferred.

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
