Salary Range: $5,990.00 - $60,000.00 Salary/year
Job Shift: 1st shift
Responsibilities- Oversees Community safety program and maintains a secure resident home and working environment in compliance with policy and regulations
- Sustains a preventative maintenance program to maintain proper functioning of all Community equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the maintenance team in providing exceptional services
- Mechanically repair, replace, and/or install minor equipment, hardware, and controls
- Maintain water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners, kitchen equipment and associated equipment
- Maintain community plumbing systems
- Completes all maintenance requests, both scheduled and emergency, quickly and efficiently
- Conducts inventory on chemical supplies and complies with proper storage and usage procedures
- Implements safety protocols and procedures to avert incidents and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements
- Performs exterior maintenance duties as necessary
- Delivers fire and disaster education and performs preparation and drill activities with residents and team members
- Engages with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction
- High school graduate or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in HVAC systems and/or electrical required
- Prior senior living experience desired
- Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire
