Logistics & Warehouse Specialist

We are looking for a highly energetic, results-driven Logistics Associate to join a growing team. The primary purpose is to ensure the company has the proper amount of product required for project completion. The incumbent will ensure suppliers meet targets for quality, delivery, and total cost of acquisition.

• Warehouse worker is responsible for completing shipments by processing and loading orders.
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area.
• Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, and maintaining a clean shipping supply area; comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Complete reports by entering required information.
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Must be able to drive a box truck or company van and have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with operating a forklift.

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Preferred forklift certification or capability to complete forklift certification training; company safety can provide forklift certification training.

• Primarily walking, standing, and bending for extended periods with some sitting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with verbal, written, visual and listening skills.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate required equipment and computer input devices.
• Able to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 50 pounds.
