Maintenance Technician

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Maintenance Technician for an established manufacturing client located onsite in Mesa, Arizona.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role supports plant-wide production operations by performing critical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment and systems. The Maintenance Technician will partner closely with production teams to prioritize work orders, maintain safe operations, and ensure equipment readiness. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who thrives in a hands-on, safety-driven industrial environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prioritize and complete daily maintenance work orders, supporting equipment repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, mechanical, and basic electrical issues; implement corrective actions and collaborate with electricians as needed.
• Maintain inventories of tools, repair parts, and materials; obtain quotes and prepare requisitions; fabricate parts when necessary.
• Support plant departments by providing technical expertise on machinery, equipment, and facility issues.
• Document repairs, calibrations, tests, and service records to ensure compliance with ISO and safety systems.
• Uphold all company safety, environmental, and quality compliance standards, including PSM and the MLI Code of Conduct.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience performing industrial or manufacturing maintenance work.
• Skilled in troubleshooting HVAC systems, motors, pumps, overhead doors, RO/UPW systems, and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to work safely in a PSM-regulated environment with strong adherence to PPE and safety procedures.
• Proficiency using CMMS or equivalent work-order software and maintaining detailed documentation.
• Strong problem-solving ability with the capacity to manage multiple priorities independently.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
