Community Maintenance Worker

Randolph United Council is a nonprofit organization founded in 2022 to serve the unincorporated community of Randolph in Pinal County. Our vision is to build a thriving, safe, and sustainable community by supporting revitalization, improving local resources, and creating opportunities for economic development.

Residents of Randolph and individuals with ancestral ties to Randolph will be given preference during the application review process.

This position supports that mission by helping maintain a clean, safe environment for residents.

The Community Maintenance Worker is responsible for keeping the Randolph community clean and well-maintained. This role involves outdoor work, trash removal, simple groundskeeping, and supporting community improvement efforts. The employee will work closely with team members to help strengthen the neighborhood’s environment and pride.

• Pick up litter and debris from community streets, lots, and public areas
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Maintain cleanliness around community centers, pathways, and gathering spaces
• Assist with basic landscaping tasks (sweeping, raking, weed removal)
• Report hazards, vandalism, or safety concerns to supervisor
• Follow safety procedures while using tools and supplies
• Support special community cleanup events and beautification projects
• Represent Randolph United Council positively while working in public

• Commitment to keeping Randolph safe, clean, and welcoming
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds and perform physical labor
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Prior maintenance or outdoor work experience is helpful but not required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have reliable transportation within the Randolph area
• Outdoor setting; exposure to sun, wind, dust, and seasonal weather
• Walking for extended periods
• Use of basic tools such as rakes, grabbers, brooms, and trash bags
