American Leadership Academy is accepting applications for Custodians for the school year for our campuses in the East Valley
. Candidates must be able to obtain a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance card.

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean windows and mirrors.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.
• Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestations.
• Set up, arrange and remove tables, chairs, ladders and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours.
• Assist with the school’s energy conservation practices by turning off unneeded lights and equipment; identifying unoccupied areas of the building where heating and cooling can be shut down; and reporting leaking faucets, pipes and sprinklers.

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance card

• Previous experience working as a custodian or industrial housekeeper
