Responsible for providing Contract Service Agreement (CSA) clients with the highest level of equipment availability through the effective management and monitoring of the service and maintenance of their equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Effectively monitor CSA Equipment for their condition through the use of current and historical data, i.e. completed inspections, SOS results.
Effectively communicate with Empire resources on a plan of action for the repair/replacement of major components before failure.
Effectively communicate to the CSA client, the plan of actions to ensure equipment availability for required major repairs.
Effectively work with Empire resources to ensure repair target completion dates are met and progress/delays are communicated effectively to the client.
Ensure costs charged to the CSA contract are in line as per quotes.
Ensure out-of- scope CSA contract repairs are identified, billed and communicated to the client.
Create an environment of ownership and personal accountability where each person is responsible and accountable for their performance.
Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure total client satisfaction through effective communication and interaction.
Document and communicate issues that may impact client satisfaction to the appropriate area.
Utilize available technology to effectively communicate with the client and employees.
Work overtime as required to meet department and corporate objectives.
Perform other related duties as may be required.
Work within and promote corporate values.
KNOWLEDGE
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to assist and support clients and employees.
Strong oral and communication skills.
Must have mechanical aptitude and equipment knowledge on Caterpillar and other related Heavy Construction and Mining equipment.
Must have extensive Empire client knowledge.
Must have sufficient knowledge to effectively utilize PC systems and database. Must be able to utilize computer-based service and work order management systems.
Must have planning and organizational skills to effectively manage client issues and equipment repairs.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Ability to maintain consistent attendance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in repair, maintenance, recondition and operation of Caterpillar machines.
Extensive mechanical experience in Caterpillar and other related Heavy Construction and Mining Equipment
Current driver's license.
Maintain current MSHA card.
Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
