We’re hiring a General Manager Facilities & Service (Multi-Site Maintenance Supervisor) at POD 4 (San Posada, San Valencia, San Hacienda) in Chandler & Mesa, AZ. In this role, you will help keep our communities running smoothly by handling maintenance repairs and contributing to the upkeep of the community, while providing the five-star service that makes Mark-Taylor communities feel like home.

Compensation
  • The anticipated starting base pay range for this position is $91,520/annually.
  • Eligible for monthly bonuses based on operational metrics.
  • Additional hourly pay for EPA, CPO, and OSHA certifications***
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a maintenance manager in multifamily is required.
  • EPA, CPO & OSHA 30 Certification is preferred.
  • Lead and develop the Service team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the entire POD Service team, including task management, service requests, turns, and prioritization of work.
  • Manage capital projects and property improvement initiatives from planning through completion, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Demonstrate strong financial acumen through budget management, expense control, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain strong organization and operational oversight to ensure service standards, team productivity, and property needs are consistently met.
  • Extensive knowledge in the following areas:
    Plumbing, Electrical, Pool Maintenance, HVAC, Carpentry, Landscape Maintenance, Appliances, and OSHA-related standards.
  • Record of high performance within team and complete training records within own team.
  • Record of promoting and training team members.
  • Basic computer skills required for reporting.
  • High School or GED required.
In This Role You Will
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations across multiple multifamily communities to ensure properties are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and grounds staff, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Ensure completion of preventative maintenance programs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pool, appliance, and building systems.
  • Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance, safety, or curb appeal concerns requiring attention.
  • Coordinate and manage apartment turns to ensure units are market-ready within established timelines.
  • Prioritize and monitor service requests and work orders to ensure timely, high-quality completion and resident satisfaction.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including scheduling, oversight, and quality control of repairs and capital projects.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and all applicable health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct safety meetings and maintain documentation related to inspections, incidents, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with developing and managing maintenance budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure projects.
  • Monitor inventory levels and oversee ordering of maintenance supplies, equipment, and parts.
