About the Position
Dink & Dine is looking for a dependable, hands‑on Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position plays an important role in keeping our facility, pickleball courts, kitchen areas, event spaces, equipment, and overall property operating safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of facilities, building, or maintenance experience
, is comfortable troubleshooting problems, and takes pride in completing work properly the first time. This is a hands‑on position for someone who can work independently, prioritize maintenance needs, and respond quickly when issues arise.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance throughout the facility and property.
- Conduct daily facility inspections and identify maintenance, safety, and repair needs.
- Maintain and inspect pickleball courts, including routine cleaning and preventative maintenance.
- Perform general repairs involving:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- HVAC
- Drywall
- Painting
- Carpentry
- Doors, locks, fixtures, and hardware
- Replace HVAC filters and assist with preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot facility equipment and building systems.
- Assist with maintenance and upkeep of kitchen areas and equipment.
- Maintain restrooms, including fixtures, plumbing, dispensers, and general repairs.
- Assist with event setup, breakdown, and facility resets when needed.
- Maintain outdoor areas and assist with property upkeep.
- Respond to maintenance requests and urgent facility issues.
- Work with outside contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are required.
- Monitor contractor work to ensure work is completed properly.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspections, and preventative maintenance documentation.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in an organized condition.
- Identify potential problems before they become costly repairs.
- Follow all company safety procedures and applicable OSHA requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
This position will play an important role in maintaining and expanding the facility's preventative maintenance program.
Responsibilities may include:
- Scheduled inspections of facility equipment.
- HVAC filter replacement and inspections.
- Pickleball court maintenance and cleaning.
- Plumbing and restroom inspections.
- Electrical and lighting inspections.
- Equipment inspections.
- Checking for leaks, unusual noises, damage, or other signs of equipment failure.
- Maintaining preventative maintenance schedules and documentation.
- Recommending repairs or replacements before equipment failures occur.
- 1–2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, commercial maintenance, building maintenance, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose basic maintenance issues.
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Commercial or hospitality facility maintenance.
- Preventative maintenance programs.
- HVAC maintenance.
- Plumbing repairs.
- Electrical troubleshooting.
- Kitchen or restaurant equipment.
- Pool, court, or recreational facility maintenance.
- Work‑order or facility management software.
- OSHA or other safety certifications.
Pay Range: $20.00–$24.00 per hour
