Applies technical knowledge to assist senior technicians in troubleshooting and repairing systems. Works with both analog and digital video electronics with the ability to assist troubleshooting the component level with minimal documentation. Repairs electronic devices, including but not limited to, high speed cameras, photographic equipment, card readers, office electronics, etc. Understands basic computer networking and transmission systems such as coaxial, CAT-5E, CAT-6E and Fiber.

Uses computer operating on various Window OS's. Guided by a senior technician for compliance with accepted practices. Performs other duties as required to complete the assigned mission. This position is covered under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Pay Rate: $29.42

Education/Licenses/Certifications/Experience Requirements:

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have one of the following: 1 year related electronics experience, or an Associate's degree / Military training in a directly related field.

Job Skills Requirements:

• Must have toolbox and tools required to perform heavy vehicle maintenance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests.
• Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned.
• Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions including summer temperatures peaking around 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Must meet the physical requirements necessary to perform operations outlined, performed, and stated in the SOPs for ELMO.

• Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice, to support test missions.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.
• Must be a current TRAX employee or affiliate subcontractor for internal postings.
