DEFINITION To clean and repair streets, sewer lines, storm drains and traffic signs throughout the City.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITY : (Essential functions are those functions that the individual who holds the position must be able to perform unaided or with the assistance of reasonable accommodation.)
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS :

QUALIFICATIONS :
The degree of knowledge and ability as outlined under this section is that which is necessary to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of this position Knowledge of Basic maintenance and repair methods and procedures used in assigned area. Safe and effective operating practices of light equipment used in assigned area.
- Operate light equipment and power tools used in public works maintenance operations.
- Work independently or as part of a crew.
- Follow directions and have a desire to learn.
- Perform hard physical labor under confined and uncomfortable conditions.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and special events.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with City employees and the public.
